3) Use your rewards points to refill your energy. There is an optimal time for this. You should expend as much energy performing jobs with low energy/xp ratio before getting a refill. Never ever get a refill whenever you’re close to leveling, that’s a pure waste of godfather points.

4) Complete the Boss tier in New York as soon as possible. This will give you one of the most valuable items in the game, the Mafia Wars Golden Throne. This will give you an incredible 2x energy regeneration rate.

5) Complete the Consigliere tier in New York and you will obtain the Mafia Wars Helicopter job mastery item. This will shave 30 secs off your energy regeneration timer.

6) Some of the most difficult jobs allow you the option of calling your mafia for help. Always use this option so that you do not waste precious Mafia Wars energy points to complete these jobs. For this reason, it is extremely beneficial to have a huge mafia family size.

7) Finally, you may want to start as a Maniac as this character class has a faster energy regeneration rate.
